MOBILE, Ala.— Authorities are investigating a head-on accident involving four motorcycles and a car that left multiple people dead on April 13.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported the accident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on Highway 158 near Wilmer Georgetown Road. A 2023 Ford Mustang driven westbound by a 21-year-old Mississippi man collided with four motorcycles traveling eastbound.
Kevin Nettles, a 34-year-old Loxley man, was among the motorcyclists involved. Emergency responders transported Nettles to USA Hospital in Mobile for treatment of severe injuries. Nettles was riding with other motorcyclists at the time of the accident.
The impact killed three other individuals at the scene, including a 21-year-old Mississippi woman and two 39-year-old Alabama men. The Ford Mustang driver sustained critical injuries and was hospitalized.
Alabama State Troopers confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
