NEWTON— Brent Edmonson, age 20, tragically died on March 25 after a motorcycle accident at Highway 16 and E. 20th Street.
Newton Police reported the crash occurred around just before noontime. Edmonson was traveling north on a motorcycle when it struck a Honda CR-V traveling west through the intersection.
Emergency responders pronounced Edmonson dead at the scene.
The driver of the Honda, a 63-year-old woman, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The passenger, age 60, was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident. Information was provided by the Newton Police Department.
