CARMICHAEL— Corey McBride, age 39, lost his life after a vehicle struck him while he was riding his bicycle on Coyle Avenue.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office reported the crash occurred around 12:45 a.m., west of St. Charles Drive.
Authorities later ruled McBride’s death a homicide.
Law enforcement located the vehicle involved, and the California Highway Patrol continues investigating. Information was provided by the Sacramento County Coroner and California Highway Patrol.
