GREENE COUNTY— Dontay Henderson, age 41, and William Pointer, age 46, suffered life-threatening injuries in a March 27 accident on U.S. Highway 35.
Ohio State Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred around 1:45 a.m. near U.S. Highway 68. A westbound Mack tractor-trailer struck the rear of Henderson’s Volkswagen Jetta, sending it off the road into a ditch. The truck then jackknifed in the eastbound lanes after crossing the median.
Both Henderson and Pointer were transported to local hospitals for treatment. The truck driver was uninjured.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation.
