UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio— Authorities are investigating an April 22 accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Old State Route 74.
The accident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. in the 500 block of Old State Route 74. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found a 62-year-old woman who had been struck by a vehicle.
Officials identified the pedestrian as Judy Honse, 62, of Union Township. Emergency personnel transported her to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to injuries.
Union Township Police Department stated that preliminary findings indicate neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be factors in the accident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
