ALGOMA TOWNSHIP— Karsen Soulia, age 25, lost his life on March 29 after a fiery crash in Algoma Township, Kent County.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office reported the accident occurred at around 12:45 a.m. near 10 Mile Road NE and the Belmont Bypass. Deputies stated Soulia was driving a sedan when it collided head-on with a motorhome. Both vehicles were engulfed in flames. Bystanders pulled one of the drivers from the vehicle before the fire reached it.
Emergency responders pronounced Soulia dead at the scene.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate.
