HAWLEY— Kaylee Taylor, age 22, suffered severe injuries on March 19 when a Chevrolet Suburban crashed near Hawley.
Authorities stated the SUV experienced a tire blowout, causing the driver to lose control and hit the median. The vehicle overturned multiple times.
Taylor, a passenger in the vehicle, was airlifted to Fort Worth, where she underwent emergency surgery. Investigators confirmed Taylor lost an arm and a leg in the accident.
Two other occupants of the vehicle sustained various injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
