LINN COUNTY— Mark Prier, age 57, of Dubuque, and Christina Black, age 36, of Springville, were injured Thursday in a two-vehicle crash.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office reported that the accident happened around 12:11 p.m. at Highway 151 and Springville Road. Prier was driving west on the highway when Black’s vehicle struck his. Both vehicles ended up in a ditch.
Emergency personnel airlifted Black to an area hospital with serious injuries. Prier sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received medical treatment.
The Sheriff’s Office said charges are pending as the investigation continues.
