NASHVILLE, ILL.— Precious Greer, age 30, suffered injuries on March 29 in a three-vehicle crash near Nashville in Washington County.
Illinois State Police said the accident occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 64 near milepost 59. Greer was driving a passenger car that was struck after a van was hit from behind by another vehicle.
Emergency responders transported Greer to an area hospital for treatment. Three other individuals involved were seriously injured, including two who were airlifted to a regional hospital.
The accident happened as traffic slowed due to an earlier incident near milepost 64. The roadway remained closed overnight and into Saturday morning.
The Illinois State Police continue their investigation.
