LYSANDER— Tammy Piscitelli, age 54, suffered serious injuries on March 31 after a head-on accident in Lysander involving two vehicles.
New York State Police reported the accident occurred at about 8:19 a.m. on Oswego Road. A Chevrolet Express cargo van crossed the centerline and struck Piscitelli’s Jeep SUV head-on.
Emergency responders transported Piscitelli to Upstate Medical Center. Authorities said her injuries were serious but not life-threatening. A 3-year-old passenger in the Jeep was also taken for evaluation.
The driver of the cargo van, a 28-year-old Williamstown man, died from his injuries.
State troopers confirmed the investigation is ongoing.
