SPARTANBURG COUNTY— Tonya Giles, age 61, of Buffalo, and Brittany Wooten, age 35, of Roebuck, died on Mar. 13 after a crash occurred on SC Highway 290 near Anderson Mill Road.
Authorities reported that a westbound Honda struck the side of a Nissan as it entered the highway from a private driveway. Both drivers, Giles and Wooten, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
